Tom Brister is one of the very few financial planners in the United States with over 33 years of experience. His efforts have earned him the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®). He is one of a select few financial planners listed in Who's Who in Finance and Industry . Tom's advice is valued by many corporations, associations, groups and agencies as well as legal and accounting firms. He has presented seminars to the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado State Park Rangers, and Memorial Hermann HealthCare Systems, just to name a few.
Tom attended the University of Mississippi on a football scholarship. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration a few months after he and his Ole Miss teammates played in the 1962 Cotton Bowl against the University of Texas. After a stint with the US Army in Germany, Tom returned to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and began his career in financial services. In 1971 he built a home in Evergreen, Colorado where he and his wife have lived ever since.
